HealthGrid is inviting sponsorship for a reception, the gala dinner event, conference meals, and refreshment breaks during the 2008 International HealthGrid Conference.

On Monday, 2 June, Workshops and Tutorials will culminate in a Welcome Reception for all conference attendees held at the Gleacher Center. The event provides a great opportunity for interacting with executive liaisons and representatives from leading HealthGrid organizations around the world. Many of those attending the reception provide global leadership in Grid technologies. In addition to reception events we seek support for conference lunches and refreshment breaks.

On Wednesday 3 June, the annual Gala Dinner will feature a Lake Michigan boat cruise. Support this annual networking event, which highlights the collaborative nature of the global HealthGrid community. The event provides a great opportunity for interacting with leading cutting edge projects, including representatives from biomedical virtual organizations around the world.

HealthGrid conferences provide an opportunity for face-to-face dialogue among members of the community that sits at the crossroad of advanced ICT and biomedical sectors. Conferences attendees are leading academic researchers, industry CIOs, top-level healthcare managers, technical service implementers and government officials. This is the first time the HealthGrid community will meet outside of Europe, expanding the global nature of the HealthGrid.

Sponsorship of this set of activities provides an opportunity to increase visibility with both the biomedical and advanced technology communities. Sponsors will be acknowledged via signage at the event site, recognized in the published conference program and on the website. In addition we are open to suggestions regarding other ways in which we can acknowledge generous support.
